The training offers practical skills, including mindfulness practices, which are designed to show you how to ‘disentangle’ from unhelpful thoughts that may make it more difficult to stop smoking. The training also introduces skills to help you explore what is most important to you in life (your personal values), providing practice in using your values as a guide to your daily actions. Research has shown that this type of training can support you to feel more ready to stop smoking and lead to wider improvements in health and well-being. This is a different approach to supporting people to stop smoking that will be evaluated by a team of psychologists from City, University of London.

The training also introduces skills to help you explore what is most important to you in life (your personal values), providing practice in using your values as a guide to your daily actions. Research has shown that this type of training can support you to feel more ready to stop smoking and lead to wider improvements in health and well-being. This is a different approach to supporting people to stop smoking that will be evaluated by a team of psychologists from City, University of London.
