IDAHOT at City and Hackney Mind

On May the 17th we marked our support for the IDAHOT movement and attempted to draw attention to the homophobia, transphobia and biphobia in our society.

First established in 2004 the day was created to speak to key decision makers, the media and the public to end discrimination and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community.

The date May the 17th was chosen as it commemorates the World Health Organisation decision to declassify homosexuality as a mental disorder.

City and Hackney Mind decided to take the opportunity to stand with this movement and create some inspiring posters celebrating IDAHOT behind rainbow flags and Stonewall posters.
